Wallet compatibility
BitTool Signer's coin-level exports use the same UR types as other QR signers, so many wallets can import them without any BitTool-specific work. This is the list the app itself shows under Connect and in Settings › Compatibility.
- Scan to sign: the wallet imports the account, shows a signing QR code, and accepts the signature back.
- Watch only: the wallet can show balances for the address or account, but cannot send signing requests that BitTool Signer understands.
| Export | Scan to sign | Watch only |
|---|---|---|
Wallet level (bittool-signer-wallet) | BitTool Wallet (iOS) | — |
Bitcoin account xpub (crypto-account + crypto-psbt) | Sparrow (desktop), BlueWallet, Nunchuk, Bitcoin Keeper, BULL Bitcoin, Specter (desktop), Bitcoin Safe (desktop), ZEUS (no Legacy) | — |
| Bitcoin multisig cosigner (BIP48) | Sparrow, BlueWallet, Nunchuk, Bitcoin Keeper, Specter, Bitcoin Safe | — |
| Bitcoin address | — | BlueWallet, Electrum |
EVM account (crypto-hdkey, EIP-4527) | MetaMask (extension, mobile), Rabby (extension, mobile), imToken, TokenPocket, Ambire (extension) | — |
| EVM address | — | Rabby, TokenPocket, OKX Wallet, Trust Wallet |
Solana account (crypto-multi-accounts) | Solflare, Helium Wallet | — |
| Solana address | — | Phantom, Backpack, Jupiter, OKX Wallet, TokenPocket |
| TRON address | — | TokenPocket, TronLink, OKX Wallet, OneKey |
How the list was made: each entry was checked against the wallet's own documentation, its source code, or Keystone's integration documentation (BitTool Signer uses the same UR types as Keystone), then reviewed again by someone trying to disprove it. Entries that could not be confirmed were left out.
Wallet apps change. A listed wallet is expected to work, not guaranteed: the user should always compare the first address in both apps before receiving funds.
Notes
- Sparrow imports one script type per QR code. Select the same script type in Sparrow (Native SegWit by default) as the account you exported.
- TRON scan-to-sign needs a wallet that sends
tron-sign-requestfrom an imported key. None of the popular TRON wallets surveyed does this for a plain address today, so TRON is watch-only in third-party wallets. BitTool Wallet signs TRON with BitTool Signer through the wallet-level pairing. - TokenPocket supports EIP-4527 for EVM (scan to sign), but its own cold-wallet protocol for TRON and Solana is different and not supported, so those are watch-only.
Adding your wallet
If your wallet supports BitTool Signer (any chain, either pairing type), email support@bittool.com with the wallet name, version and platform. Once a round trip (pair, request, signature, broadcast) has been confirmed, it can be added to the list in the app.
